Slow signals should not cause overshoot/undershoot problems?
No probe video with about 30 year old expensive Soar digital multimeter video.

Probe ground attached or detacted makes no difference.

Inverter and wall receptical/plug breakout cable complete.
Sexist Hallmark labels connectors 'male/female'
No white and green 22 gauge wires.
So yellow is neutral and blue is ground.
T44 pin soldered to neutral.
Shrink tube used to make attractive mini-banana to cable mating.
Probe tested before heat applied for shrink fit.
Jake fixed probe problem.
1 X probe voltage is 9.25V.
10X is .920V.

Wavetek red digital mulitmeter used to check probe with above 9V battery at Hallmark.
Cost estimated to be slightly over $100.
Two free Harbor Freight meters work well too.

Buttons clip terminating in T44 pins attached to battery.
Checked black short ground lead from probe and well as connector ground.
Resistance still varies greatly.
Work on NEXTera Freedom of Information Act request for data from the New Mexico Wind Energy Center caused delay in addressing probe issue.

Connector to 1X 10X probe problem discovered.
1X probe setting reads battery voltage more or less okay.
Flexing the connector appears to cause problem.
Any ideas about what is wrong?
Cable can be cut to test probe without connector at worst.
I'll bring the probe in to Hallmark.
