HGST Touro connected to PCI-E card works fine. Black cable.

Belkin 7 port USB 2.0 power removed. 230W measured for desktop.

170W to 230W increase remains unexplained.

Hellow Williams,

Problem source may be the PCI-E card.

Woke up at about 04:00 with thought.

Windows device driver writing for 10 years frequently resulted in going to bed
thinking about what the problem was, then awakening at about 2 am with solution. Yuk. :(.

Patriot sitting on destop will be plugged directly into PCI-E card.

bill

Hello Williams,
4 port connected to desktop planned.
BR>Desktop idle power increased from about 170 to 250W about time HooToo PCI express card inserted.

Power is 250W after 7 port removed.

Listen to my comments on 7 and 4 port power consumption.
