Sent: Wednesday, October 19, 2011 3:47:14 PM Subject: Case 1100369-UT - NMGC's 2012 Energy Efficiency Program Request - Proposed Bill Language

Ms. Hurst,

Below is the proposed customer notice language that would appear on the bills of applicable customers (sales service in classes 10, 54 and 56 and transportation customers).

The bill messaging will run a complete monthly billing cycle, thereby notifying all applicable customers. NMGC plans on beginning the messaging on cycle 18 (October 21 bills which mail out on October 24). The messaging will continue through cycle 17, completing a full monthly billing cycle.

With your approval, the message would read as follows:
NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS: New Mexico Gas Co. (“NMGC”) has applied to the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission (“NMPRC”) for approval of an amended tariff rider which would impose a charge of $0.0070 per therm on customer classes eligible to participate in NMGC’s energy efficiency programs. The charge would allow NMGC to recover all direct costs incurred as a result of implementing, funding, and administering six residential energy efficiency programs and two commercial energy efficiency programs. For more information on NMGC’s request and how to participate in the NMPRC case, go to www.nmgco.com/regulatory_filings.aspx.

We await you approved language to insert into the affected customer bills.
