Hartranft writes that Intel will add a 100-kilowatt array atop one ot is Rio Rancho buildings.

All told, the projects will produce about 2.5 megawatts of electricity which is enough power for 800 homes, Hartranft also writes.

Liz Shipley, Intel spokesman[?], said the system will consist of 1,344 panels covering 12,379 square feet of rooftop on Intel's RR5 office building.

Hartranft also wrote that Intel last year unveiled a 10-kilowatt system.

How many kWh will be produced?
1 kWh = 3,413 BTU.
Solar produces 320 BTU/h/ft2 at best?

12379 * 320 =

3961280/3413 = 1160.64 kWh?
